Knowing when to use the All-in move and when to avoid it is basic in order to become a professional poker player . Many players tend to go on tilt when they go All-in against another poker player and they miss the opportunity to make the most out of this strategic play.

It is not necessary to have the nut in order to go All-in because if we do this we will become predictable and our opponents will fold instead of calling our All-in. Besides, we should take into account that it is much easier to go All-in that to call one. All we need to win a hand is to bet when we are 100% sure that our opponent will call our poker bet.

If we are chip leaders we can try and pull a bluff on our opponents to force them to fold. We will risk losing a few chips but if our opponent loses he will be out of the poker game. However, we should not go All-in just to bluff but only if we have the best hand or the chance to make it with the help of community cards.

We should be careful if we go All-in with a short stack because probably an opponent will with a large stack will call in an attempt to eliminate us. We always need an invincible poker hand in this situation or at least a few outs.
