The next Virgin Poker Festival will take place on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th June 2008 and it will be hosted by the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Room in Nottingham. This will be the third poker event organized by Virgin; the two previous festivals were held in Birmingham and Newcastle.

The Nottingham poker festival is expected to attract more than 270 players, who will compete for an impressive prize pot of £32,000. The tournament mode will be Texas Hold’em No Limit Freezeout, starting with 10,000 stacks, with 40 minute levels and £5,000 added to the prize pool.

In order to take part in the two-day tournament, players have to qualify through the organizer’s website and no direct buy-ins will be allowed. Also, Nottingham residents will be given the chance to compete in a special live satellite tournament on Sunday 22nd June and win a seat in the Virgin Poker Festival.

A wide variety of side events have been prepared for players to have even more fun during the Festival. Live play classes will be offered in practice tables to all those who are interested and a Wii bowling tournament will be held during the weekend in order to find the king of Wii bowling.
