The Latin American Federation of Poker (FLAP) and CIRSA (the world leader Spanish developer of gaming, leisure and entertainment electronic systems) will hold world-class tournaments throughout the entire Latin American continent.

The FLAP/CIRSA Poker Tour tournaments will be conducted in 12 countries within the continent. The first tournament will be held in October 2008 -from 9th to 12th- at the Casino Resort and Majestic (Dominican Republic).

The main event will have a Buy-In of $ 2,500 and U.S. $ 200 beginning on October 9th at 3 p.m.

The Latin American Federation of Poker was founded by a group of recognized players in 2006. Its mission is to represent Latin poker players, teach and provide information on how to become better poker players aiming the professionalism of the motion.
