The CAPT is an event that lasts one week, and has different poker tournaments with various types of games. This year it will be held at Innsbruck, Austria. It has already begun on the 4th of this month and will end, one week later, on the 11th.

Previous CAPT events were held in Bregenz and Salzburg. The winner of the main event of the first tournament was Markus Lehmann, who took home €95.930, while the winner of the largest prize at Salzburg was Gerhard Shiesser, who won €48.880.

As any serious poker tournament, certain periods of time are determined for the different levels; in this case, about 60 minutes were established for each game. The organizers of the event, have estimated a sum of money for the prizes, which supposedly exceeds 5 million euros.

This week will give players, apart from the chance of being well rewarded and recognized, an experience in Tirol’s capital city, in the middle of the mountains of the Inn valley, where they will also make use of the amazing infrastructures of the ski pit and descend mountains, feeling the wind in their face and leaving the whole world behind in a jiffy.
