Jack Hinchey, a Canadian Poker player, was crowned winner of the online Poker tournament called World Crown of Poker after beating some of the best players of this discipline in a final event celebrated face to face in Barcelona, Spain.
The winner is a Canadian grandfather, who worked as a plumber. He became winner of a 1 million dollar prize. Even though he seemed very enthusiastic about this prize, he said that he is not planning to keep playing at least for now, because this tourney has left him exhausted.
The final event in Barcelona, had the presence of many Canadian players, since three of the 10 finalist were of this nationality. Michael Lawson, coming from Ontario, took home the second place.
Hinchey said that he does not know yet what he will do with the money, but that one of his priorities will be to pay for her granddaughter Victoria’s college education, because he said that she was an inspiration during the whole tourney.
